Got a mix of progs and artists out for thier first tandems at Pitt Meadows on Saturday. Watching them go through training, then go up for the jump - I thought it was one of the best presented intros to the sport I have seen in a long time. The TIs took the time to explain all the gear, get everyone through a mockup and and positioning for freefall and covering non verbal instructions. Going up with them, expecting to just solo it, one the locals found me, not only jumped with me, but video'd and debriefed with pointers. We even got a quick dock or two in the sit. Went back again today, even sneaking out of work early :) Today was a 3 way sit that started off as my pre-second horny gorillia. Even if it was only 2 jumps, it was a kick ass weekend. More tandems from EA to follow next weekend.
