With a transfer with the phone company they found out I knew how to do different things then what I was hired to do so they had me doing them along with what I was hired to do. Hence I was doing other peoples jobs and not getting the pay others were getting doing the same job. You see the problem here?

See, the hourly job when you have the time to work more hours and are interested in earning more money is the one exception to the rule. The more they are impressed with you the more they want you to work and the more money you make.

This, unfortunately, tends to happen with salaried jobs, too, where the "and the more money you make" part doesn't always work out.
