Icon134 0 #1 August 11, 2006 I was out playing with Karma (our usual activity of chucking the ball) well the field behind the house has been recently cut and there's lots of dried grass... well karma likes grass... but I think this looks kind of unpleasant... Of course I'd try and get into the grass as much as possible to maximize the gross out factor... oh and yes Karma has a huge tounge... Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife... missg8tordivr 0 #4 August 11, 2006 yum! At least it isn't dirt! Bubba (new dog) loves to dig holes and stick his muzzle right in the dirt. Combined with that and his saliva....well, it becomes quite messy.*** F LORIDA!

SkydiveStMarys 0 #8 August 11, 2006 My dogs, every now and then, will race out back and grab a mouth full or two. I heard they did this because their tummies were upset and grass seems to relieve that. I have no idea as to wether or not thats true. I kinda think that, knowing my dogs, they are part billy goat. tigra 0 #10 August 11, 2006 I let my cats out in the yard and they eat grass- then they wait until they are back inside and puke it all up! That's one thing I'll never understand about cats- they are very picky about where they pee or shit, but they'll hack anywhere- usually in the center of a doorway or on the steps where I'm sure to walk in it barefoot! sharimcm 0 #11 August 11, 2006 QuoteI let my cats out in the yard and they eat grass I think grass is good for cats?? Petsmart sells something called "CatGrass." My cats used to love that stuff. It's supposed to soothe their tummies... I thought it was bad for dogs... Oh well. All I have is a dog now, and she kicks out, so grass isn't a problem. She's weird. tigra 0 #12 August 11, 2006 I think it is good for them, and my guys LOVE to eat grass. Of course, then they hack it all up, but I think that's supposedly good for them too. When I lived in an apartment, I would buy the cat grass, and my cats loved that too. Unfortunately, now they think all house plants are meant for them to eat! Needless to say, I no longer even attempt to keep plants in my house! I have no idea about dogs and grass, though! I haven't had a dog in a really long time! flyangel2 2 #14 August 12, 2006 Why do cats and dogs eat grass? That is the first question I asked in lab.
