Shotgun 1 #1 August 8, 2006 What's your favorite thing to do on Sunset Strip, or in the general vicinity? Clubs? Restaurants? Shops? Anything else? Just curious... I'm going down there either tomorrow or Wednesday, and I'd like to check out something new.

lawrocket 3 #5 August 8, 2006 I used to like to go to the Chateau Marmont to check out famous people who may OD on a speedball. IN all seriousness, though, it's a place to hang out if you want to pick up chicks. But it's a little too loud and young for me - even when I was young and louder. Everything is too expensive.... My wife is hotter than your wife.

QuoteBut I do recall having some great fries at Barney's Beanery one late night. http://www.qsbilliards.com/barneysbeanery/default.asp Wow, that is the largest menu I have ever seen! I don't think I would ever make up my mind. It looks like an interesting place though...

Any place that has cheese and gravy as options gets instant respect from me.
Shotgun 1 #8 August 8, 2006 I guess I should have mentioned that I'll be going to the Viper Room at night. Those comedy clubs sound like fun though! Might be worth a trip back some other time... And I'll check out the shopping around the Kodak Theater. I've only been to Rainbow late at night (and always had a good time ), but that might be a fun place to check out during the day... and I've never eaten there. Is their food any good? I looked at their website, but it only mentions hotel rooms and bungalows (which appear to be booked for the next century, at least). Do they have a restaurant or bar? It was run by a transvestite - seriously! I went there with some friends while in law school. Four of them got kicked out. So we all left. My wife is hotter than your wife.
