MF42 0 #27 July 29, 2006 That nut looks like it fought hard, but you whooped it in the end. Some days I hate the Phillips head screw. Especially a rusted Phillips head screw that some unconscionable hack over-tightened 10 years ago. Matt

ryno1972 0 #31 July 31, 2006 I had a 74 bug, with FUEL INJECTION, it was the shit... one of the injectors started leaking, it pumped all my gas out in less than 10 miles, when I noticed and pulled over gas was pouring all over my engine!! I thought for sure my car was going to catch on fire. I could only afford one injector every pay period (2 weeks), it took 8 weeks to replace all of them. Ran great after that!!!glad to be here!! ryno1972 0 #36 July 31, 2006 My starter also failed, took a month or two before I replaced it. I could push start it myself most of the time!!! I had 2 of my friends with me and I stalled it in a busy intersection, they had to get out and push start me....It was great!

JohnRich 4 #41 July 31, 2006 QuoteWow what kinda car do you have that it takes 1-11/2 to change a serp belt? Well, I don't know about his, but my 98 Buick Riviera is a bitch to change the belt. It's front-wheel drive with the engine mounted sideways, so you have to remove a motor mount to change the belt...
