Does having a Skyhook change much of the reserve repack process?

I'm no rigger, but i'm curious to know how having a Skyhook changes or complicates the reserve repack procedure. I have a skyhook on my new Odyssey and i'm curious to know how it will alter the standard repack procedure.

Folding and bagging the canopy is exactly the same.
Then you stare at the new manual, stow the Skyhook - as per the manual - then finish closing the container like any other Vector 3.

To answer your question as far as a skyhook on a Javelin. It is slightly different. There are a couple different folds in the bridle and an extra closing flap. It isn't that different or difficult. They have a PDF of the new manual up on the sunpath web site.

Answer - yeah, it's slightly different but no harder. One extra flap.

However, for me, the thing is they changed/improved a few minor instructions on packing all Javs in general (how to stow reserve PC fabric comes to mind) - not just ones with a Skyhook. Since I've rigged full-time and maintained hundreds of the things for 7 years, my process is so ingrained that I have to stop and think, "Oh yeah, now we do that this way."

I'm very impressed with the new Skyhook Odysseys I've seen. Especially love the improved riser covers. One thing I'm very careful about - but esp. when assembling any new Skyhook rig, or repacking one that's new to me, is measuring bridle length from hook to freebag and hook to pilot chute, making sure the hook is facing the right way, etc. but that's easily become part of the inspection process.

They finally got rid of that nasty, (RSL) hook Velcro on the reserve riser.
Do I have to tell you how many Javelin main lift webs I have replaced because the Velcro chewed the other riser?
