weegegirl 2 #33 July 17, 2006 14; 9; 0 14 hour ride home today in the car!! (with a short pitstop at the casino, teeheehee) Spent the weekend at gorgeous Skydive Midwest, one of the coolest dropzones ever. The view is stunning... especially for photos on the afternoon loads where the lighting is perfect with the lake in the background! 7 work jumps and 2 fun jumps, although all the work jumps were fun as hell. Thank you Andre, Erica, Glenn, Buzz, Ray, Chris, and everyone else at Midwest. You guys ROCK!

Daizey 0 #39 July 17, 2006 One cold that doenst seem to want to go away:2:0 I was feeling pretty yucky on Saturday so I just stayed at home and spent the day in bed. It felt really nice and by Sunday morning I was feeling great! Did 2 jumps-both of which I pulled at 8,000 to practice some stuff I leanred last weekend. My landings are looking soo much better! And this accuracy thing is starting to make sense! Unfortunately by noon I felt like crap again and spent the rest of the day on a couch in the AC (it was HOT) Next weekend will be fun-I'll hit my 100th!! WOO HOO! *daizey*

yardhippie 0 #44 July 17, 2006 This was probably the first weekend since march or april I didnt make at least ONE skydive or hop-n-pop. It worked out great too. I got to spend some long overdue time with my Mum and her new boyfriend. I hadnt seen her in over a year and a half. She's just back from a 7 year stay in Oz. Friday I called a couple people and they called a couple people so I ended up with a house full of drunk or simi-drunk skydivers with my Mum and my wife and I. It was hilarious! thank to everyone for coming by, belive it or not Mum and boyfriend had a great time! Saturday we went out to the Botanical gardens which is very cool if you've not been there. I spent the evening in the kitchen whippin up MORE homemade guacamole, chicken enchiladas, and other dishes. We had a nice dinner with another couple that stopped buy and Mic proceeded to poke and prod my Mum and her boyfriend until they told their story which spans 32 years. So we drank wine till the wee hours and laughed lots. sunday was lazy day, and sadly my Mum left this morning to go see my little brother. At least she's back in the US again! Good weekend.Goddam dirty hippies piss me off! ~GFD "What do I get for closing your rig?" ~ me "Anything you want." ~ female skydiver Mohoso Rodriguez #
