OSOK 0 #1 July 15, 2007 Do they make a black lense for this helmet? Any ideas?
DougH 270 #2 July 15, 2007 I am curious, why black? Is it to look cool?"The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
chutingstar 1 #3 July 16, 2007 They make a tinted lens. MikeChutingStar.com
VTmotoMike08 0 #4 July 16, 2007 While on the topic of changing the lense of the factory diver, I would add that you should pry the velcro off with the dull edge of a knife because if you pull it off by hand the velcro is stronger than the glue holding it to the helmet and it can peel off, leading to a very inconvenient velcro repair. Someone spared me from learning that the hard way so I thought I would pass it on

chutingstar 1 #6 July 16, 2007 Here's a link to their site that shows the difference in the two lens styles. http://www.skysystemsusa.com/accessories/lenses.html MikeChutingStar.com
DougH 270 #7 July 16, 2007 Quote ...functionality as well. Functionality in what way? I found it is very functional to be able to see the eyes of the other people in my dives! To each their own, but remember to keep your clear one for night jumps. OSOK 0 #8 July 16, 2007 Thanks for the link Mike. DougH, for some reason my eyes have become very sensitive to sunlight... it must be because I 'always' wear my sunglasses when I go out... no matter what I'm doing. So, a tinted lense would be nice, and look a little cooler too
DougH 270 #9 July 16, 2007 Maybe you could get them to make a transitions visor. Now THAT would be cool. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
