2fat2fly 0 #1 July 14, 2006 I mean completely gone. Granted, I didn't log a lot but I wrote down enough to prove that I was current-now I have no idea what happened to it. Does this mean that I'm regulated to having to jump only at my home DZ until I log some jumps in a new book or can I get a note from my S&TA in my new book saying that I'm trained, current, and pretty safe for an old, fat guy.I am not the man. yardhippie 0 #2 July 14, 2006 just get a new one and and write in the last jump you made X number of spaces in to it, get a reputable jumper or S&TA to sign it. Then start filling in the blanks. Good luck buddy. CanuckInUSA 0 #4 July 14, 2006 QuoteEver lost a logbook? ... I mean completely gone. Close. Last year one of my log books was left in a bag placed adjacent to the entrance of my garage at the time and it was snowing. Because it was snowing, water leaked into the garage and into my bag where it proceeded to ruin the log book. Most of the pages are now fused together and the book is essentially useless. But I just kept logging into a new book (that old log book was nearly finished anyway). This reminds me ... I still have 10 jumps from last weekend which have yet to be logged. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
slotperfect 7 #5 July 14, 2006 This has happened to lots of people. Yardhippie's advice is sound; I would add that working the currency issue out with your DZO and/or resident S&TA can result in a win-win for everybody. You get to log another jump that gets signed off (currency issue is solved), and your DZO keeps you as a regular customer.Arrive Safely John

Good luck buddy. Perfect advise. I lost mine and the S&TA at my home DZ signed off that the # of jumps was accurate and I started over. g"Let's do something romantic this Saturday... how bout we bust out the restraints?"
