Yet another, help a brother pick a canopy design poll.

Its kinda obvious what my colors are, feel free to screen cap and post a design to suggest.

My very first canopy was centered and balanced. It was ok, but I have grown tired of it. I kinda like the mental clash I get from the off centered designs.

Ok, seriously, just do a screen capture, put it in your favorite editor, crop and save. Personally I used Photoshop, but that's my choice. Gimp is a really good editor...and its free.

Fair enough answer.....why not black with neon green instead of green with black?

Just curious...I think the neon color is more "mental".

If its not the color green don't laugh at me...I'm colored blind....it looks green to me though.

I was going to do something very similar, but replace all green with red and mirror the black cell and color the cross braces in that cell red (a mirror of the neighboring cells)

but then I decided I didnt want to wait the time frame involved, so Im taking a stock one.

How do you find a green canopy in trees or open fields of crop?

How does descending traffic (da jump plane) spot you from above?
Could be risky...

I doubt your going to have any problems with them putting black crossbraces in black cells.

I can speak from experience on a good reason not to go mainly black. I have a Triathlon 190 that is (Blk/Blk/Blk/Yel/Blk/Blk/Blk), and a leant it to a friend of mine to use in his wingsuit rig. He had a cutaway over a large wooded area of mainly pines. It took two weeks two find the canopy. A ball of black fabric is not easy to spot in a thicket of pines... But hey, it was found, and all is well...
My next canopy purchase will be a Nitro 135 all neon green with the black checkerboard in the center cell and black leading edge.

I also like number 1...

i vote for #3. having mostly green really makes the black ribs/ x-braces stand out.

IMHO #1 and #2 are trying too hard to be different/asymetrical.

#3 looks good.

While these are definetly your colors and not mine, #3 would be my choice.
Have you asked about the black on black issue. My manufacturer doesn't allow dark colors in some parts of the canopy.

Post a picture of the real one, once you have it!
