OMG.... soo cool

Recommended Posts

I am absolutely flipping out right now! Lake Wales Skydiving Center just called and told me that the News Chiefly (central florida newspaper) wanted to interview me for an article in extreme sports! They were looking for a girl that was gung ho about the sport... so Lake Wales recommended me!! They are even going to pay for some jumps before I go to skyfest so they can get some pictures......

I think I am in skydive heaven like whoaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any tips for what I should talk about in the article?!! This is just way cool!!

Look out Famosa Rodruigez . . .
I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama

Hate to be a wet blanket, but be sure to prepare for leading questions attempting to steer your words into saying bad things about skydiving. Journalists are not to be trusted.:|

Very timely caveat. [:/] The world is getting a little more used to "extreme" sports, though. Perhaps you'll get a journalist who's trying to do an upbeat, balanced story. Talk to your DZO or someone who's had experience in dealing with the press to hear ideas on how to tackle certain subjects, like incidents, deaths, etc.

Sounds like they maybe just want to interview a vibrant, outgoing person about an exciting sport. Good luck, knock 'em dead.:)

Congrats! They picked a great person to shed a positive light on the sport. Good luck and let me know how it goes!

Thanks chicka!! I'm waiting to hear back from them this afternoon, and I think we're doing a photo shoot tomorrow morning!! Hehe, I'm still dancing around the house! :o) :o)
