skymama 37 #51 July 11, 2006 That was definitely more creepy than I thought it was going to be! I was so grossed out by some of the "bad" pirates. I bet a lot of the parents who bring their little ones to it because it is a Disney movie are going to be surprised. All in all, it was pretty good although I agree that it was a bit long. I found my mind wandering in a few scenes that just dragged on. I also missed the banter between the three main characters that were in the first movie. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

meatbomb 0 #53 July 11, 2006 I went to see this last night, and was bitterly disappointed. I found the action vaguely entertaining, and there were some genuine moments of humour, but overall, it was a derivative pile of kak. I counted rip-offs from Lord of the Rings, Highlander, The Three Musketeers, Laurel & Hardy, and Lost, and that was just the blatant ones...and don't bother staying for the last scene...it's a complete waste of 5 minutes of your life, waiting during titles which include "Hair PA", for a rip-off of Ace Ventura. I mean come on! Save your money, and go see any of: Fearless, Thank you for Smoking, Hard Candy, or even The Lake House, all far superior films in every way. Guess I'm gonna pass on watching the first and third ones.--- Swoopert, CS-Aiiiiiii! Piccies
skymama 37 #54 July 11, 2006 There's a scene that shows after the titles? I don't think anyone in the theater waited for that! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

skymama 37 #57 July 11, 2006 Yes, I want to know! Say it here in case others didn't see it too. Just put a disclaimer on the post so people who haven't seen the movie will know to skip over it.She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
meatbomb 0 #58 July 11, 2006 As requested.... DO NOT READ BELOW IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE FILM AND WANT TO BE "SURPRISED" BY THE LAST SCENE!!!!!!! The final credits roll, then it cuts to the witch doctor painted as a skeleton on the "Lost" (Isla Cruces?) Island, dancing round the fire, then genuflecting in front of the throne that Jack was sitting in, but is now occupied by the dog, with a big bone in it's mouth....Yawn...Still can't believe that I wasted 5 minutes of my life over it (and have now used even more typing about it! ;P)--- Swoopert, CS-Aiiiiiii!
