bob.dino 1 #3 July 3, 2006 Two hop n pops on Saturday afternoon, three 16-ways and a fourth that turned into 4x 4-ways when we saw the cloud cover. Last jump was a fun low-pressure three-way with two newer jumpers, and was also my 700th. Beer for that. For those with short memories, the numbers are humps (or other significant number) : jumps : beer owed.

What caused it? Not sure. I'd normally say overspeed, but I mean, I went flat 1,500' before I pulled. It wasn't the slider or anything, because the slider never even got anywhere near all the way down, it tangled in the broken lines about 1 metre down from the bottom skin. I had just enough time to look at it, notice all the broken lines, and go "Wow, I can't believe it's even flyi-..." before it had the same thought and went into a spinning dive.cavete terrae.
