flyboyne 1 #1 July 7, 2006 I think I might be suffering from boogie-ities. Our clubs boogie is a week away with Couch Freaks not too far behind. All I can think of is jumping out of turbines and awesome parties. I have a hard time sleeping at night and can't concentrate while at work. Is this normal? grue 1 #2 July 7, 2006 Totally normal. I, on the other hand, have had two reserve rides in two boogies. If I have a chop at Couch Freaks I'm not going to any more boogies cavete terrae.
flyboyne 1 #3 July 7, 2006 Heard about your cut-away on skydive radio. That really sucks. Wish I could have been in Luverne but I had to work. Hope you get a new canopy soon!!
freeflyimpaired 0 #4 July 7, 2006 When I first read your tread title I thought it said "Boogie-tits" and I was like, "Hell Yeah". I totally know what your saying, but for a lot of the people on here it probably doesn't make sense. Not very many jumpers are in the situation that you are stuck in. There are very few places (if any) in the USA that are further from turbine DZ's than the Lincoln, Omaha area. Looking forward to seeing you guys in one short week. Later, Joe. flyboyne 1 #6 July 7, 2006 Boogie-itis or Boogie-tits still suffer the same symptoms. And yes, it does suck living in the state that is the farthest away in all directions from a turbine. But where else can you jump into the local bar parking lot a get served the beer of your choice with out asking or paying??? It does have its trade offs. Plus $7 hop n pops are great!!! brianfry713 0 #8 July 9, 2006 I thought it was some boogie sickness that was passed around, or just the sick feeling you get after over-indulging for a long weekend.
