PsychoBob 0 #133 June 4, 2006 Both designs are great but I think I'd prefer the GFD2. Simple but classy. JMHO. BTW, I want 3 of whatever design everyone decides on. Thank's for working on this for everyone."I'm not a gynecologist but I will take a look at it" RB #1295, Smokey Sister #1, HellFish #658, Dirty Sanchez #194, Muff Brothers #3834, POPS #9614, Orfun Foster-Parent?" d_squared431 0 #135 June 4, 2006 You did a great job with both so far..Sometimes simple is the way to go, but in this case. I think the penguin is the better choice for a patch. Just my 2 cents.TPM Sister#130ONTIG#1 I love vodka.I love vodka cause it rhymes with Tuaca~LisaH You having a clean thought is like billyvance having a clean post.iluvtofly
NlghtJumper 0 #136 June 4, 2006 Yeah, I like the pengin too. It makes it a lot more personal than just simple text, ya know? Clownburner 0 #139 June 4, 2006 I'd certainly be down for 3 of them with the penguin. You should also get stickers done; those could have a lot more shading and detail (and you can't put a patch on your helmet) 7CP#1 | BTR#2 | Payaso en fuego Rodriguez "I want hot chicks in my boobies!"- McBeth
woodpecker 0 #140 June 4, 2006 Actually, I'm in for 4 of whatever. Just let me know where to send the money and addy. Thanksf or all the hard work. Its nice to see the skydiving community (family) coming together again....unfortunate for these circumstances, but together anyway.SONIC WOODY #146 There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence -- which side of the line are you on? Paige 0 #141 June 4, 2006 QuoteHere ya go. I think that might be too much small detail, it would probably get blurred together in the actual patch. I love all those! I'm partial to penguins though. Thanks for all the 'proofs,' you are very talented.Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com
skyesspot 0 #142 June 5, 2006 I think the penguin one catches the essence of Shannon more, crazy and unpredictable, but cute and lovable.Life is too short. Don't sweat the small stuff.

TitaniumLegs 8 #144 June 5, 2006 Apparently, there is no copyright issue with using Tux (the Linux penguin). TitaniumLegs 8 #147 June 5, 2006 OK, you're down for 10. I'm working the stickers. Got a couple angles already, but waiting for a reply from the patch peeps to see if they can do both effectively. (>o|-< If you don't believe me, ask me.
smiles 0 #148 June 5, 2006 Designing a patch? Beauty job as going to print.... unsure about .bmp export.... I draw in vector and export to .jpg for viewing....actual file sent to shop would be .ai or .cdr export. Color separation? How many colors? Each color is drawn as separate object...and there is no detail (re: outlines--loose canopy lines ect....) for example: say 3 color process is chosen: black / magenta / golden yellow So you end up with 3 separate files- attached: gfddeepyellow1.jpg gfdmagenta2.jpg gfdblack3.jpg full view: gfdcolorprocess.jpg attached in next post~ SMiles

TitaniumLegs 8 #150 June 5, 2006 The shop we're using can take just about anything and turn it into good stuff. They made the TimmyD patch (see first post of this thread) from a jpg photo. 9 colours included in base price. Original is visible here http://timmyd.ca and http://aerialextreme.com/stock_photography/undercanopy.html (second page). On a side note, I suspect we met in Abbotsford once or twice. Maybe also if you were in the group that came down to Monterey and Hollister a couple times. (>o|-< If you don't believe me, ask me.
