ntrprnr 0 #1 July 3, 2006 One of the beautiful things about living in NYC is that the stuff you country people take for granted is always an amazing experience for us. Like a sunset in a rainshower on a hot, steamy night. I swear, a hundred of us just stood on 23rd St., in the middle of the street, stopping traffic, to watch this. My camera-phone doesn't do it anywhere NEAR the justice it deserved. It was truly awe-inspiring._______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues." NlghtJumper 0 #2 July 3, 2006 I love going out to the river or ocean back home, and just watching the sun come up. Its a great way to end a long night or start an early one. Its so peaceful. SkydiveStMarys 0 #3 July 3, 2006 You should never look directly into the sun Peter, it tends to fuck up your eyes and there for your spelling suffers. Ru oh Raggy....oooh Scoob. Jaden 0 #7 July 3, 2006 Nice shot... And I agree, most people walk around in the dark. Every day is unique & beautiful, if you open your eyes & notice. BTW... The reason that most of us move to the country, is to escape the noise & distraction of the city. We get to see alot more stars.

masterrig 1 #9 July 3, 2006 That's beautiful! I'm not really fond of big cities but, in this case, I'll make an exception. That picture proves, beauty is everywhere. Something I really enjoy, is when we're working cattle and at night, it gets coal-black dark at night and you can see every star God ever made. East coast people are wierd. Everyone else knows the oceans are the best place to watch the sunset. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" jloirsdaan2 0 #12 July 3, 2006 you think we don't have a beach on the east coast? but i do have to agree. best sunrise/sets i've seen have either been at the beach or from the top of a mountain looking out across the valley. I was just pointing out the lesser hand east coasters were dealt with regard to the direction our planet rotates. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!"
