I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama

Nobody can help you, Turtle. It's mainly because you have a cute, cartoonish turtle avatar that is flashing the 'Shocker' at people, an' that's just wrong! :|

So Giving Babs Bunny a bunch of piercings is so much better - right.:)

No, but giving Babs Bunny BREASTS is much better, thank you very little! :|

(I didn't do it by the way! CountryScrub did. Hey, whatever happened to ol' Scrubby, anyhoo?! :o)

I understand DVDShrink (or maybe it's ShrinkDVD) is pretty good, too....

It IS very good, but not shareware and not legal in the United States.

Should I delete it then?

I used it to get the DVD to my desktop. It put them on my desktop in two folders, one with multiple files:
Audio_TS
Video_TS
-Video_TS.BUP
-Video_TS.IFO
-Video_TSVOB
-VTS_01_0.BUP
-VTS_01_0.IFO
-VTS_01_1.VOB
-VTS_02_0.BUP
-VTS_02_0.IFO
-VTS_02_1.VOB

I was able to use Windows Media Player to play the vid on my 'puter by opening either of the IFO or VOB files (the BUP files didn't show up in the WMP file list).

I tried uploading the IFO and VOB files to SkydivingMovies.com but neither would upload.

That's all I have.
My reality and yours are quite different.

Nah, don't delete it. I think (hope) we're a long way off from having the PTBs bashing down doors to get people for illegal software. :P

Our Senate is in the process of passing a bill that kills Net Neutrality and carries the Broadcast Flag. If you don't know what I'm taking about look it up. Let's just say, TiVo and your homemade DVRs will pretty much become obsolete without some major overhauling. You'll have to hack your HDTV, DVRs etc.. to make them work.

As for DVDShrink, it's an awesome program. No longer supported. Also it can't handle some of the newer encryption. I tried using it to "backup" Narnia for the 9yo and it choked. I was able to use DVDencryptor to strip an ISO off it. But when I went to mount the ISO and try to burn it back to DVD it's 8.5gigs. DVDShrink wouldn't "shrink" it and didn't like the ISO format.

Now I'm no where near an expert, but I tend to walk the edge when it comes to being a "pirate". I love Bittorrent and use it frequently.

Turtle as for you're dilemma I'm pretty sure DVDShrink can handle it. You can still find it hosted on some offshore websites. Just Google it. Since it's not a copyright protected DVD and I'm sure it's not 8+gigs (dual layer) you will need a copy of Nero to do the actual burning. You can find trials and some free copies online.

I also gave you this site in another thread you brought up about DVDs and copying / backing up..

http://www.videohelp.com/ use your own judgement and weed through the junk. You'll be able to find some rather good advice and even some free downloads of tools to play with Videos.
