Gawain 0 #1 June 24, 2006 I'm at a loss. IE has some kind of registry error or something. Every time I close it, I get an "Instruction ... referenced memory at "0x00000ba0". The error could not be "read". Registry sweeps/corrections have not fixed it. I've disabled some of the "add-ons" in IE, but the error still shows up. I've googled the problem and I keep finding more "pay-for" solutions. Anyone have any ideas or experience?? This error has not affected the operation of my laptop in any way that I can tell, boots up quickly, etc, life is good. O, thank you!! So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! Sockpuppet 0 #2 June 24, 2006 run memtest86 and that should check to see if the memory is OK. ------ Two of the three voices in my head agree with you. It might actually be unanimous but voice three only speaks Welsh.
StreetScooby 5 #3 June 24, 2006 Fuck IE. It's a piece of shit. Use Mozilla Firefox. It's excellent, and it's free. http://www.mozilla.org/We are all engines of karma
PsychoBroJosh 0 #4 June 24, 2006 I agree, Firefox is the way to go. IE is also a major gateway for virus' to get onto your computer as it is the number one program fro web browsing, so most virus' are written to exploit it's weak points. Firefox is da shit bro, use it!Josh K. "Rice is great when you're hungry and want 2000 of something" Mitch Hedberg '68 - '
Hipwrddude 0 #5 June 24, 2006 Reinstall Internet Explorer ... or, download I.E. version 7, Beta. Make sure you do so from Microsoft's official website, otherwise you could get a bastardized version that you'll have to clean out with a blowtorch (I know, it happened to me on one of my many pcs.) Good Luck! You're always the starter in your own life!

btwitche1975 0 #7 June 25, 2006 Do you have the Adobe Acrobat Reader plugin installed? This is very notorious problem when it is and you have previously opened a pdf in that session. You may have some other rouge plugin hosing you as well. Check for other unruly plugins. If not try to run add remove programs/windows components and reinstall IE. /* This is my rig... Thats a good one to try I was goign to ask if Adobe too , but befor you uninstall IE and reinstall you can first try going to tools-manage add-on's and disable all and one at a time turn them on and when you get the error then you know wich one was the trouble maker.SO this one time at band camp.....
