jdthomas 0 #26 June 23, 2006 I was downsized twice and the first time it was a real blow to me, myself worth just was gone and life got real shitty for awhile. the second time I laughed and went on, hell I had been thru it once already so this was no big deal. But I never wanted to go thru that shit again, I changed professions and went to school. the second downsize was a reward and I am far better off then I ever was before that event. normiss 845 #33 June 23, 2006 thanks Mike! update: showed for work this morning...on time and everything...security is still non-existant as I was able to go all the way to my former desk. CIO says "what are you doing?" I say....going to work...he says you cant be here! and has me removed. I thanked him for firing me and he let me get my stuff....and wow! I can still park in the garage since it's paid for and all...and still get the training classes... then went to 2 interviews....and it looks like I will get offers later today for them off to the DZ!!!!!
