kenz 0 #27 June 16, 2006 QuoteQuoteEverything I do......Byran Adams That was my first girlfriends and my song. Although now I need to think of a new one. What kind of a wedding is it? What religion? What type of people are they? This is a broad question that really needs to be explained a little so we can make it more personable for them. ok this is for my wedding - and i'm marrying wrongway - we are both pretty laid back go with the flow people - it won't be a religious ceremony because we are getting married outside... i will be walking over a bridge to this little island with a gazebo - but the walk and the aisle combined are LONG - if it happens to rain the ceremony will take place inside where there is still a bridge and long aisle to walk - if you want to look at the place maybe it will help - though we're a little more casual than the pictures look WrongWay/kenz wedding place"life does throw curveballs sometimes but it doesn't mean we shouldn't still swing for the homerun" ~ me
crewdog2 0 #28 June 16, 2006 #1 We've Only Just Begun - Carpenters We've only just begun to live White lace and promises A kiss for luck and we're on our way (We've only begun) Before the risin' sun, we fly So many roads to choose We'll start out walkin' and learn to run And yes, we've just begun Sharing horizons that are new to us Watching the signs along the way Talkin' it over, just the two of us Workin' together day to day Together Together And when the evening comes, we smile So much of life ahead We'll find a place where there's room to grow And yes, we've just begun Sharing horizons that are new to us Watching the signs along the way Talkin' it over, just the two of us Workin' together day to day Together Together And when the evening comes, we smile So much of life ahead We'll find a place where there's room to grow And yes, we've just begun #2 Mr. Hanky's Christmas Song

boinky 0 #33 June 17, 2006 Okay....it's pretty sappy and it's country. But it's slow, heartfelt and one of my favorite mushy songs. I Cross My Heart GEORGE STRAIT (Steve Doroff/Eric Kaz) Our love is unconditional, we knew it from the start. I see it in your eyes, you can feel it from my heart. From here on after let's stay the way we are right now, And share all the love and laughter That a lifetime will allow. I cross my heart and promise to Give all I've got to give to make all your dreams come true. In all the world you'll never find a love as true as mine. You will always be the miracle that makes my life complete, And as long as there's a breath in me, I'll make yours just as sweet. As we look into the future, it's as far as we can see, So let's make each tomorrow be the best that it can be. I cross my heart and promise to Give all I've got to give to make all your dreams come true. In all the world you'll never find a love as true as mine. And if along the way we find a day it starts to storm, You've got the promise of my love to keep you warm. In all the world you'll never find a love as true as mine, A love as true as mine.Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? AggieDave 6 #35 June 17, 2006 How about some country classics and favorites? "Why don't we get drunk (and screw)" "lay you down" "Finger F***ing Sally" (yes, real song, David Allen Coe) "The road goes on forever (and the party never ends)" (that's a love song, deep down) "Trashy Women" "Redneck Girl" "Everclear song" (It has a verse about "love" in it) "Good hearted women" Oh the list could go on. You know, if someone reading this post actually knows these songs, they'll probably have a good chuckle about it. I have a feeling that most folks won't recognize more then one or two songs here...that's too bad, they're all fun songs.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Muenkel 0 #36 June 18, 2006 Now that you explained that it is an informal wedding, I personally would choose 'Unchained Melody' provided your vocalist can hit the high note. If your procession is longer than the song, you can change the end of the arrangement "I need your love. God speed your love to me." Bring that down and make it more tender, then have the vocalist go into "Lonely rivers flow, to the sea; to the sea.....etc" and then return to the finale, but bigger this time....huge crescendo. Rookie120 0 #38 June 18, 2006 How about David Gray? This years love had better last Heaven knows it's high time And I've been waiting on my own too long But when you hold me like you do It feels so right I start to forget How my heart gets torn When that hurt gets thrown Feeling like you can't go on Turning circles when time again It cuts like a knife oh yeah If you love me got to know for sure Cos it takes something more this time Than sweet sweet lies Before I open up my arms and fall Losing all control Every dream inside my soul And when you kiss me On that midnight street Sweep me off my feet Singing ain't this life so sweet This years love had better last This years love had better last So who's to worry If our hearts get torn When that hurt gets thrown Don't you know this life goes on And won't you kiss me On that midnight street Sweep me off my feet Singing ain't this life so sweet This years love had better last This years love had better last This years love had better last This years love had better lastIf you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck! Jaden 0 #39 June 23, 2006 My all time fav is "Is your love strong enough" by David Gilmour, formerly, Pink Floyd... After they dropped Roger Waters. I love Peter Cetera & Phil Collins. I feel no shame. "There she goes" from "So I married an axe murderer" has always ranked up there. IMO. If this is a wedding... wait until Christmas & use Carol of the Bells By Trans-Siberian orchestra. Beautiful...Tom Petty has a couple but there is always Trance. There is no sound... as mesmirising as Trance. IMO. Rock on & Have a good one! -Mel
