Shelby??

Both are very nice. I miss my 65 coupe.

Didn't the Cobra have a European engine it for racing? I could be wrong but I remember seeing somewhere that the car was a hybrid U.S. European design to compete in the europe racing circuit.

I think the true car collector (investor) would probably go for the

Shelby GT-500 off the assembly line, while the gear-head do-it-yourselfer might go for the CS6.

In either case, may I suggest blue with white stripes as that's clearly going to be the more valuable scheme in the long run.

Yeah, it comes in black, but a Shelby in black also makes no sense. I think even Barry Meguiar would agree to that and he ONLY drives black cars.

Shelby's colors, when he was really building and racing in the 60s, was always blue with white stripes. It's the ONLY color combination that makes any sense in terms of an investment as that's the color scheme that will -always- command the highest price at the auctions later since a true car collector will want to have the matching set. Even if he's only picking up ONE car, if it's a Shelby he's going to want the blue with white stripes.
