Every B-17 out there: http://www.aerovintage.com/b17loc.htm

USA TX Fort Worth Vintage Flying Machines, Meacham Field B-17G 44-8543, N3701G (#2) Operational Chuckie

Just found out they are restoring one to flight status 45 minutes from me and need volunteers. Might help out after the jump season is over.

They have 2 flying B-17's and a few vintage cargo planes. They also are not too far from Houston.

I had a buddy who was a member of the Museum and had made arrangements to jump it until they blew an engine. They were willing to let a few of us go up on their way to a show and let us out over Granbury or another suitable location.

They had the plane at the Carswell Airshow a few weeks ago, but I didn't talk to anyone about jumping it. My buddy moved to NJ and isn't associated with the organization anymore, so I don't know anyone there anymore.

This museum has all kinds of cool planes....It is really a club for rich guys to house their toys. And I hear they have 50 or 60 planes sitting in boxes waiting restoration.......When I lived in Galveston about ten years ago, the engine noise from the their B-17 would rattle the entire house.
