Kramer 0 #11 June 8, 2006 I know the feeling. A couple months ago I moved from Indiana to Houston. Stayed up most of the night having a going-away party. Got about 4 hours of sleep. Woke up at 9 am and cleaned the apartment/packed until 7 pm. Left, and drove 18 straight hours to Houston having to stop somewhat frequently to let my puppy out of the car for a piss. Adderall was a good friend to me that night. It was hell. The FAKE KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER!!!!!!!!!
Amazon 7 #12 June 8, 2006 Quote I drove 18 hours straight...... Uh could you do it longer if you did it gay????
sharimcm 0 #13 June 8, 2006 I drove 15 hours with only four stops to get gas (I usually bought chips and a Coke for dinner) from Phoenix to Austin. I got home at 3am, and didn't get to sleep until 6am that morning... Sucked... But, when I came home from Louisiana (9 hours) this past weekend, I fell fast asleep... It was awesome. yardhippie 0 #14 June 8, 2006 meh. 18 is a tough one. When I was on the road, I genrally had to stop by 15, but if you were almost home. my longest run was 20 hours w/o sleep. only stops for food/fuel. Good thing I didnt get pulled off at any scales! Goddam dirty hippies piss me off! ~GFD "What do I get for closing your rig?" ~ me "Anything you want." ~ female skydiver Mohoso Rodriguez #
LisaM 0 #15 June 8, 2006 I once drove 20 hours straight... with a pinch driver.... to meet my baby niece. Got in at 9am... took some naps with her (she was 5 days old) on the lazy boy then left for the 20 hour drive home 14 hours later. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?
