sartre 0 #32 May 28, 2006 Wow! That's so much more deep than I interpreted it. I thought it was a euphemism for 2x4; smack him in the head with it until he gets a clue. Actually, I kind of like my interpretation better! edited to add: Oh! I did get it right! I must be really evil at heart.

How does the guy recover? Or how does the girl recover? The guy - just call her up later, set up a quick evening date. Take her back to the pad and have some fun doing what she wanted the whole time. He just needs to forget the fuck-up and pick up where he left off. The girl - toughy. Seems like depending on the guy, she could be totally fucking direct and ask if she was out of bounds by advancing on him like she did. If he doesn't know what she's talking about, i figure it would play out something like "well, when I mentioned one of us sleeping over, and you asked me what would have gave me that idea, i just thought I may have been to forward for your comfort" Lets just say if he actually is interested in her in a compatible way, he needs to pick the ball up, and take her up on the offer, immediately. If he doesn't take control back, she's going to be left with a mess to try to coach him through, at which point it's kinda pointless. There is clearly a compatability issue. If he isn't interested in her that way, well, game over again.
eeneR 3 #50 May 28, 2006 So should Jane just sit back and shut up and let him take controls again? LOL It is interesting cause really it does depend on the guy and what was going on in his mind, which I guess no one but him would know. Im thinking maybe Jane who has now made her point should sit back and wait.... or She could show up on his door step, knock him over when he comes home!
