boinky 0 #1 June 2, 2006 Every time I drive on any of the major hi-ways and bi-ways in Texas, particularly Houston, I can't help but think that the person who decides what/where to work on must be a Gemini. It has been said that a Gemini tends to start one project and then move on to another, without ever finishing the first one. I am here to attest to the fact that there are so many major roads being worked on, I'll bet they don't even know which ones the have started any more. Wouldn't it make more sense to start one project, finish it...[B]THEN start on a new one? Now I remember why I rarely stray more than about 15 miles from my home! Take one of the old prodigy canopies laying around...although you might have a harder time docking on a Lightening with one. As for the PanzerSwine, you just have to know where they live. They live everywhere. Check you PM, you've got a picture there you've got to see.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." airtwardo 7 #14 June 2, 2006 What I think is weird around Houston as far as roads... When for NO apparent reason they have an off ramp that shoots you up 300 feet, does a 720 degree loop then back down...for a simple right hand turn! ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~
boinky 0 #15 June 2, 2006 I cringe at the very thought of having to drive in Houston traffic. I'm from Atlanta. Our traffic is tame compared to THAT! I was in Houston late January of this year. boinky 0 #19 June 2, 2006 Oh, I've driven in LA traffic a few years ago. I went to Perris Valley and Elsinore to jump and had to fly into LAX. While it is hot, slow and packed, I don't recall all the roads being so screwed up by construction.Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? If you hit the gate doing over 70mph the tag won't register though... A *real* rush is 75central on a motorcycle about 4pm in the afternoon.
