due to the price of gas....

Recommended Posts

i've begun driving like a 70 year old. i drive about 60 miles round trip to work, a good deal of it highway. i can make a tank of gas last a week by setting the cruise control to 60mph. granted, i don't always get to do 60, but i also don't drive at 80 when i can anymore.

anyone else alter their driving habits?

I take the back roads instead of the highway now. 5 min longer to get to work the but the RPMs are low. 30 bucks a week in gas. to get back and forth to work.

I'm still operating on this theory:

The length of trip is directly proportional to the amount of gas used.

I know my theory doesn't hold water, but I'm sticking with it : )

I've always driven like an old man. My wife hates it! It's funny, because I squeeze a good 5 miles per gallon more than she does out of her car.

I'm going to test this on my way out to a boogie this weekend.See the thread-http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1571854;search_string=acetone;#1571854
