I've jumped in Etnies for a few years now. They are the best jump shoe I've ever owned. Now, I owe you a beer for showing me the designable shoe. That's the coolest! My current Etnies(which are basic black), are wore the hell out! I think my current shoes have about 900 jumps on them and around 5000 miles on my motorcycle on them.

$70 is not much more then from the local store...B|

Most anything custom-made, imo, is usually worth it.

I love it when something I really like for $500 goes on sale for $100 and it's too big. It's PERFECT for taking to my tailor, and having custom-fitted for $20-$30. I end up getting custom-fitted couture for a fraction of the price.:P

Ok then.......lol

The shoes though, they are not custom made to the foot, just the design.
If it was custom made to the sizing, i would be all over that for 70 bucks.

Have just got an email from Etnies for anyone interested, new colors and styles for the custom designer will be out later next month.

Oooooooooooh. I was lazy and didn't click on your link--mostly b/c I rarely wear tennis shoes:P

My father has his shoes custom made, though. Every brand and priced tennis shoe would still give him pain & blisters. His custom-fitted shoes are FABULOUS for him comfort & support-wise.

I tell you, too, since we're on the subject and to relate this to skydiving.

I highly recommend a custom-fitted container.

I was fortunate and when I was shopping for a new container a girl my exact height/frame was selling her brand new Javelin that had been custom-fitted for her b/c she had just been sponsored and was given another one. It had, I think, 50 jumps on it. It is SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE than the un-fitted one I had before.:P
