Skydiving Movies

Recommended Posts

As part of my due diligence research before choosing a dropzone and starting to skydive, I rented Terminal Velocity, Drop Zone, and Cutaway. (Blockbuster didn't have Point Break.) I'd have to say that none of them can really be considered good:P, but Cutaway had the most visually entertaining skydiving sequences.:)

My favorites are the ones I have made. B| You can find them on Skydiving movies. com under "1st Vid" and "WFFC 2004 by Clay Fowler." After that I would go with Cowboy Productions WFFC 2002 vid. Once again biased because I make a cameo. Getting smacked in the face with a free fly tube that Lyle let fly off the tailgate. :D Good stuff!

I have to say that my favourite movies are the Mad Dog Productions ones on Skydiving Movies.

Hey, I AM little biased, I must admit, 'cos I have a bit of a soft spot :$ for the editor.. I am ALSO in a lot of them, but, he did win the skydive radio video contest (((
http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=2065215;search_string=skydive%20radio;#2065215)))

so his movies are pretty much well liked by others too!

This one that won the competition, is pretty much my favourite at the moment as it's really funny!

The Gypsy Moths. Old, but, so far, it's the only movie I've ever seen that was actually about the sport. It has all, or most all, of the elements of skydiving culture in it and has some cool jumps. So far it's the best.
Skydivers don't knock on Death's door. They ring the bell and runaway... It really pisses him off.
-The World Famous Tink. (I never heard of you either!!)

I agree that is a good movie.

Here is one I put up so I got to say it is my fav. I only edited it though. This is well worth a look if you are into amazing dropzones.

It is an island that is hired out by 30 skydivers, one pilot and not another sole on the island.
The whole vid is not there as i lost the second half, but i think the scenery will blow your mind.
