kiittycatt 0 #7 May 12, 2006 I prefer having roommates. Someone around if you want to hang out and chat. Living alone I get lonely. That being said I have to have my personal private space when I have roommates so I can escape from them. NWFlyer 2 #11 May 12, 2006 QuoteLiving alone rocks, especially if you own your own place. Yeah, what he said. I haven't lived with roommates since 1997, when I was in graduate school and therefore needed the low-cost option of sharing a place. I rented my own places till 2002, when I bought the house I live in now. I like my space, my stuff, my way of living. I don't plan to live with anyone else in a roommate type situation; the only time I'd move in would be for a long-term relationship. And even then I'll probably be cranky about it for a bit."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. sharimcm 0 #14 May 12, 2006 I live alone now after living with someone for over 9+ years, and loving every minute of it. You can have whoever you want over whenever you want. You can do whoever you want wherever you want. You can walk around nekkid in your living room, go to the bathroom with the door open, etc. It's awesome!! It does get lonely at times... PRSKY71 0 #24 May 12, 2006 I lived alone up until about a month ago when my SO and I moved in together. I did enjoy living alone quite a bit. The privacy was invaluable. But, I'm just at a different phase and not living alone is also really cool now! nanook 1 #25 May 12, 2006 I'm kind of approaching that part of my life too. Interesting thing is My SO is a homeowner also so "moving in" might be taking turns at whose house to stay at._____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
