rehmwa 2 #51 May 11, 2006 QuoteIt changed over time. In my youth I was ferociously attracted to women in their mid-thirties. Now I'm 41 and I'm ferociously attracted to women in their mid-thirties. Mid-thirties is perfect. That's about my answer, too ... Driving is a one dimensional activity - a monkey can do it - being proud of your driving abilities is like being proud of being able to put on pants
Sweetness 0 #52 May 11, 2006 I've dated older, same age, and younger. Why ? Nothing planned, it just happened ... The best one was the younger one ... he was more mature and than the others, and was not ashamed to be himself or trying to act "cooler". Well, however, we're not together anymore "Ha ! I laugh at danger and drop ice cubes down the vest of fear ..." (Blackadder)
lawrocket 3 #53 May 11, 2006 I am 10 months older than my wife. She was the youngest person I had dated in 5 years. All others were between 3 and 10 years older than me. I liked older women. I still do. There's a genuineness with them because they are generally more comfortable with themselves. Been there, done that, and the naivete of the kinds that I found irritating was usually gone. I wouldn't date a woman under 30 when I was 27. But when I turned 30, 30 in a woman still seemed a good age. Some think older women lose some things over a younger woman, but they gain a lot more than they lose, and really know how to use what they've still got! My wife is hotter than your wife. Richards 0 #67 May 11, 2006 When I was single I seemed to always be dating women older than myself, which was odd because most women mature faster than guys and I was somewhat young for my age when I was in my 20's. It's not that I had some weird cougar fetish, it just worked out that the women I ended up with were older. Richards My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within. Douva 0 #68 May 11, 2006 I'm twenty-six years old. If I want to date younger women, that means college girls. Though I certainly don't object to most college girls aesthetically, most college girls are into college things, and I am not. I live in a town with a year-round population of about 30,000 and a college population, on top of that, of about 27,000. Of that 27,000, approximately 15,000 are female. Perhaps if Texas State University was known as a school of deep thinkers, I might be able to work with those numbers, but it's not--It's known as Texas's premiere party school--So I no longer waste much time fishing that pond. There are definitely some very attractive women in their late twenties and early thirties, and most of them have moved past the same BS that consumes most college girls, but I have to be honest in my self-evaluation and conclude that I don't yet have the emotional and financial stability that most older women are looking for. Basically, that leaves me with about two years on either side of my own age in which to work. That's a narrow playing field, especially when you have a home based job and limited social outlets, but I find that Jack Daniel's numbs the emotional longings and broadband porn numbs the other longings, so I make do. I don't have an M.D. or a law degree. I have bachelor's in kicking ass and taking names.
