tylermx138 0 #1 October 19, 2007 I just saw a new PD canopy called Spire on the cover of PD's website. There is a short clip of the canopy in action but its very short. Does anyone have anymore information on this canopy? Is it the next high performance canopy from PD? Elliptical? Cross braced? Kolla 0 #4 December 24, 2007 Yes, it is a ground launching/speed riding canopy only, the Spire is NOT a skydiving canopy. If you want to jump that type of canopy, use a Velocity (with proper training, skill and all that good stuff) :) The Spire is basically a Velocity, but adapted to ground launching/speed riding.
