I was home visiting back in 2002, their old dog "Betsy" who was blind was on the cement on the other side of the pool in the backyard. She must have heard me talking to my parents and ran straight into the pool. I jumped in fully clothed and rescued her. Big steak for me for dinner as a reward! Life is good!
