Tonight, I'm going to the Train concert with my daughter. That's the last real cd I bought.

There was a thread not long ago about favorite 80's music. I was thinking that mine had to be Dire Straits Making Movies. I've always loved M.K. He and Emmylou are a great duo....

Normally, I'd just look at "recent purchases" in iTunes, but MY BLOODY HARD DISK DIED. Normally they give at least a little warning, this went from running fine to completely dead in 30 seconds

It can be restored at a higher cost than I'm willing to pay. I used all my techie tricks, the thing is well and truly dead. If I were really inspired, I could transfer the platters into a new disk, but that's too much work. Hell, I'm so lazy and fed up with the (old, slow, demented) machine I'm just buying a new one instead of replacing the disk

I hate to admit it but i haven't really bought anything lately i've had a personal laptop for the last few months for the first time ever and between ripping my whole cd collection, raiding the music server at my company and other mate's hard drives i've accumulated quite a bit of music. I will be going out to buy Stadium Arcadium by the RHCP soon tho.
