adventurechick 0 #52 May 8, 2006 QuoteI suck at it. And I've come to terms with that. You only have 11 jumps... that means 11 minutes of freefall.... who is good at anything within 11 minutes of doing something. I only have 27 jumps... and yes, I'm sure I suck... Let's see... I ran into The ONLY TREE at my dropzone, landed bad on the tarmac (crutches for 3 weeks) and I'm sure my freefall could use some work as it always will. Don't be hard on yourself!! GiaKrembs 0 #53 May 8, 2006 Serious... we were driving to the airport yesterday and out of no-where my windshield was pelted by a ton of bugs, then seconds later my winshield was covered with raindrops (no clouds, no rain, and no other cars were affected).... it was REALLY freaky. We were a bit disturbed by the occurance.... g Raddest ho this side of Jersey #1 - rest in peace brother Beth lost her cherry and I missed it .... you want access to it, but you don't want to break it. hisgoofyness 0 #62 May 8, 2006 Quote ...and of course you took note that I got to you before he did, right? Yeah Andy, I must say I was impressed. I was doing my greatest impression of a bowling ball (rw stable), chasing that cluster fawk of a formation, and you got there before me... Of course I was last out... something about my physical stature and should be a diver... hahahahaha :3:1 My beer owed is the same as Jen's, of course, my first jump with my WIFE!!! Also got to do another zoo load with our friend Keith to celebrate his 200th... I was laughing my ass off in the sky watching the formation spin and slide all over the sky... Sometimes it is fun to watch a dive go to shit and chase it to 5,000 ft!!! Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me!
pilotdave 0 #63 May 8, 2006 3.1:9:probably 3.1 hours spent crammed on the floor of a 182 with 3 women. 4 jumps saturday at CPI with Roger Ponce. Woulda been 5 but the winds picked up from ~0 to 28 knots in the time it took us to climb to altitude. Glad we didn't jump. Then sunday was a little trip to Cross Keys by 182. 5 jumps there. I don't THINK I owed beer for anything there... Dave
masterblaster72 0 #64 May 8, 2006 ten jumps, four out-landings (low winds, close to last one out in most of the loads, pulled fairly low), first chopper jump (what a blast!), first three-way freefly jump. In addition to that, saw family and friends back in Philly, mamma cooked up some great food as always, and my friends treated me to lotsa beer. It was a great weekend indeed. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
