Shotgun 1 #10 May 3, 2006 I used to have a recurring nightmare about a clown. (Great, now that you've reminded me of it, I'll probably start having it again. ) But I never thought that clowns in general were scary... Well maybe a little bit scary, but in a good way. Of course that's me. I just don't get them. waltappel 1 #23 May 3, 2006 I felt kind of sorry for a clown one time. I went to visit a critically injured friend who had received eventually fatal head injuries in a landing accident. His wife and a number of other friends, many of them jumpers, were there along with me in the ICU waiting area. The wife, also a jumper, was having to go through the process of deciding whether to "pull the plug". Suddenly a clown came over to spread some happiness. I think I would have rather traded places with my critically injured friend than be in that clown's shoes that day. He had a truly tough audience. Poor bastard. No, we didn't hurt him--we just wanted to. Walt
lawrocket 3 #24 May 3, 2006 There's no particular reason why I fear clowns. Probably like anybody, they are just trying to make a living. But clowns are scary. I don't hate them, I just find them to be scary. They're weird. They aren't happy looking creatures. Circuses are themselves dreary places. My wife is hotter than your wife.
