I wasn't going to say anything since I'm royally overdue for a new computer.
Currently, every once in a while I have to hit mine to make the color work
Sad, but true.
I'm sure there's some techy-way to open up my tower and fiddle with some wires and boards and things like that, but hitting the tower seems to work just fine for me

Sounds like you've got a bas VGA cable. Make sure the connector from the monitor on the back of your tower is pushed in all the way. Every time you bang on the tower, it's probably causing the loose connector to jiggle into place (it might also be causing other stuff on the inside to jiggle OUT of place
).

Actually, you are correct. Indirectly. Excessive wanking causes a Kirlian energy flux which can interfere with the electronic signals in your computer.
Those of us who are not wanking excessively in proximity to our computers are not having this problem.

The way to get around this was to unclick the SIG LINE and works fine...i dnt have a sig so it dosnt reli matter to me.
