hyper172 0 #1 April 11, 2006 Hey everyone out there. I wrecked my honda cbr 600 f4i last month, and am wondering what my best course of action would be. it is basically totaled. is there any place to take the engine to sell, or should i just put it in my friends barn and forget about it? where and how is the best place to take it to part it out? any input would be appreciated. oh yeah... dont ride motorcycles with flip flops! i know this is common sense, but common sense isnt all that common. at least not with me

AggieDave 6 #4 April 11, 2006 There are quite a few motorcycle salvage yards that would love to talk to you. They'll sell either parts or the bike, google around a bit and you'll find what I'm talking about. I live and work in a college town area, you won't believe the number of people riding sport bikes in shorts, tank top, flip flops and just a backwards hat.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." MagicGuy 0 #5 April 11, 2006 There's a website, I believe ATVtrader.com, that you can take a picture of the bike in it's current condition and post it up. I'm sure there's someone who will want it for the parts that still work. You can post it up by the state that you live in, and that way if anyone near or remotely close is interested, they can get in contact with you. My brother bought both of his quads from there and has had great luck with them.
