Sick_Of_It_All 0 #27 April 5, 2006 You can count me in for cuts also. I've had plenty of stitches and open wounds. The best being a 10 inch gash on my leg that cut into meat and made bone visibile. Riding an ATV a branch thrown up by the front tire knocked my foot into the rear tire which sucked it up. The rear fender plastic broke and made a nice sharp point that sliced me from mid thigh to behind my knee. Didn't even notice I was cut until I noticed my pant leg was wet. Looked inside the tear in my pants and saw meat, bone, and blood. Just about passed out but drove the 3 miles home where I almost made my mom pass out. I also have a nice fat medical file. Insurance companies cringe when they see my records.

MrBounce 0 #29 April 5, 2006 QuoteAm i a freak I haven't broken anything yet ! Me neither! All of my injuries have been soft tissue stuff from playing rugby. Torn ligaments, ripped muscles, dislocated fingers and several facial scars Luckily i gave up such a dangerous sport to go skydiving a couple of years ago and have never looked back.[edited to add] Of course, now I'll probably walk out the door, trip and break my leg. Gavin Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. If you don't take it out and use it, its going to rust.

simplyputsi 0 #31 April 5, 2006 Wait wait, I forgot the one where I was shot with a bb gun in the upper left thigh. Good thing I moved at the last second. Well they had to do exploratory surgery to get the little guy out and I had a nice little hole I had to pack every other day. edit: get your damn minds out of the gutter, the bb was the little guy and the hole was in my damn leg. I know you people were thinking otherwise.Skymama's #2 stalker -
NWFlyer 2 #33 April 5, 2006 Still have yet to actually break a bone (knock wood). Two stitches in my forehead from a top-heavy toddler incident. Six stitches in my right wrist from sticking my hand through a glass storm door when i was four. I was chasing after a friend and the door swung back on my hand. I tried to catch it but my hand went right through. Severely sprained right ankle playing basketball when I was 13. Three stiches in my left index finger from a bagel-cutting incident when I was in my 20s. Hit by a car as a pedestrian 2 1/2 years ago... torn labrum in my left shoulder (required surgery), major road rash/bruising, sprained left knee, and deep puncture wound in my left thigh that caused permanent nerve damage. Other than that, just bumps and bruises and sprains and strains from various sports/activities/general clumsiness. Edited to add all the stitches."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. loves2jump2 0 #34 April 5, 2006 When I was five I broke both legs in a snowmobile accident - When I was seven I was convinced that I could fly, so I jumped out of the second story window, broke my ankle and arm. At the age of 15 I dislocated my shoulder playing softball. When I was 25 I fell off my bar stool (sad thing I wasnt even drunk) and sprained my wrist. hobbes4star 0 #36 April 5, 2006 Broken collarbone BMX riding, crushed ankle at work by a 7000lb FedEx AMJ can. Broken ribs from go-kart racing. Should have had my belts a little tighter. Countless broken fingers and toes. Appendix (sp?) out and a bar fight that ended with me getting stitches and some staples in a few cuts from a broken beer bottle. Also had one skin graft on hand due to a piece of gymnastic equipment falling and pinching off a lob of skin, and fat. My skydiving injuries include a sprained ankle and a few bruises.if fun were easy it wouldn't be worth having, right?

dmetz 0 #38 April 5, 2006 14 yrs old, broke my hand when I hit the padded wall in the high school gymnasium after loosing a wrestling match. 19 yrs old, New Years Eve, I was hammered and apparently running my mouth to someone not so drunk, I turned away for a moment then quickly turned back into a fast moving fist. Never saw it coming; not that it would have mattered, I'm sure I didn't have the reflexes remaining to duck anyway. Resulted in my orbital broken in two places which required reconstructive surgery with titanium. Plus multiple soft tissue injuries, pretty much all the standard ones that active American males get._________________________________________ "If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?"
