n23x 0 #3 March 23, 2006 In this case, it's just a gyrocopter. Just because a hillbilly welds his handlebars to a gyrocopter doesn't make it all that different. An orange, covered in poop, is still an orange. .jim"Don't touch my fucking Easter eggs, I'll be back monday." ~JTFC

diablopilot 2 #5 March 23, 2006 Pretty cool. Not to new of an idea, but he's made it road legal.....---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
SkymonkeyONE 4 #6 March 23, 2006 Powered by a prop? No way it's road legal.
scotttodaro 0 #7 April 6, 2006 The prop will be disconnected for road driving and a combination of shaft and chains will drive the side wheels. It will probably get better mileage driving than flying though. Larry Neal is no hillbilly, he is also test pilot for the Cartercopter (backed by NASA). and check out the Monarch landing videos, no flair landing gear, as a gyro pilot those just blow me away! Dallas area jumpers can get a gyro flight and see the flying motorcycle soon A flyin will be at Olney Municipal Airport, Olney, Texas 76374 (KONY) Sunday, 30 April
