2fat2fly 0 #1 March 24, 2006 I'll pre apologize if anyone is from here and loves it, but this is the most boring towns that I've ever been stuck in. And if you knew my hometown, that's saying somethingI am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried

JohnRich 4 #5 March 24, 2006 Quotethis is the most boring towns that I've ever been stuck in. Several state parks nearby. New Bern is lovely and historic. Couple hours to great beaches. Outer banks. Ferry rides. Fishing. You just gotta get out more.
boringjen 0 #6 March 25, 2006 Not only did I live there, I lived outside the "city limits". I lived there for a few years as a child (I'm only 22, so this was back around '88 to '91, I think), and I still haven't gotten used to the idea of shoes. Or paved roads. Or neighbors. I was down in Jacksonville a few weeks ago, and I drove through Kinston. I have absolutely no memory of that place except our house/property and school. It's not very memorable.
