Mike McGowan is using the sport to make a buck. And I have absolutely no problem with that; he is one of the best, and has given back an awful lot to this sport.

Newer jumpers are using the sport in the same way - to make a buck. Some of them may someday give back as much as Mike did. Nicole here may someday do the same.

Or do some CG and sell them to Ford for an SUV ad (which someone recently did.) Or get to be good, take some footage and then sell it to hollywood for incorporation into a movie (which Mike and others have done.) All of which is fine by me.

And that's fine. I wouldn't buy a two hour freefly video, because it all sorta looks the same to me. Doesn't mean that freeflying is bad or anything, just not my cup of tea.

Msg or PM as you get closer to being finished. I have a friend who's worked as a buyer for large adult video store here in SB for 2+ yrs. Depending on what traction he can get with his bosses (2 gay guys, story for another time...) he should be able to buy a couple copies and put them on the shelves. I can't remember exactly, but I think he told me they buy 80+ titles a month, or was that a week, hell I can't remember, but it seemed like a lot at the time.

Personally, I like the story lines And everyone on here complaining about the bad acting - CMON', did you really EXPECT the acting to be good?

I do have a question though, what is up with the porns that cut away right before the dude "finishes"?!?! It REALLY pisses me off when they do that - DON'T DO THAT!!!!

I really wasn't expecting this to create such a debate, but I really believe in balance in the world. Without people who disagree with something, there wouldn't be ones who agree with it either. For every person who hates the idea of this, there is at least one who is anxiously awaiting it.

I am not going to continue to justify my project (everyone is entitled to their opinion) but I will continue to answer any questions that may come up regarding it. Feel free to post here or PM me!

for what it's worth... my opinion on porn

i love porn - but i like my porn to the point. no story. i use it, and enjoy it, an turn it off until 'next time'. i don't want a story. but thats just me.

i will watch endless hours of skydiving though... so i would be interested to see how i reacted to the two intertwined. i am betting it would be a long day / night and i'd sleep well afterwards.

Go for it! There is nothing wrong with making a buck off of skydiving. I made my living and my life off of it for almost 20 years. I've had experiences that I could never pay for if I had a million dollars. I have seen so many changes and new things come along since i made my first jump in 1974 that your movie plans seems to be just another step forward.

Maybe you should join the PIA (Parachute Industry Association) and set up a booth at the next symposium!!! I'm serious.
