looks good! i see you're still workin on parts of it, but overall, the look and feel is very nice.

love this pic in your gallery:

it's nice that you use a medium res for your free photo's. i complete understand the need to watermark, and use smaller res/size photo's for the web, but it sure is nice to click into the gallery and see the shot come to life rather than have to squint to see the detail.

I would say yes. If you note even though there is a reserve pilot opening the jumper chopping also has what looks like a belly mounted reserve.

See above... Mr. McGowan himself confirmed it. ;) But nice observational skills nonethelesss.

Great lenses, gorgeous color contrasting and fantastic framing. What editing/refining software do you use for your photos? Do you use any filters on your lenses?

thank you laurel. i use photoshop for editing. seldom if ever do i use anything other than a uv filter. That is mostly to protect the lens. it is much cheaper to replace scratched or chipped filters then the lens itself

I use UV filters for the same reason you stated above. Thank you so much for your quick response to my inquiry; I find it such a great honor to receive advice from one of the most talented photographers in the world.

"whats up with the cutaway handle on one of the hangers?"

Note that your cutaway and reserve handles might not be in the same spot when you are in the air verses on the ground/in plane. That's why I practice sliding my hands down to find them rather than going for them in the place I thought they would be.

Yeah thats the problem, if you slide your hands down, you wont find it because the handle is not on the harness anymore... :S
btw, talking about the hanger to the back
