a lot of folks have been e mailing me wanting to know what happen to the hanger with the cutaway handle floating out. i will answer it here so i can save multiple e mails.

the handle did come all the way out by break off so he had to deploy his reserve.

also to answer the question about the slider on the cutaway shot. it was a split slider. we did this to enable me to get a clear shot of the pilot chute deploying.
