JordanCraft7 0 #1 January 9, 2008 Just got an old Canon Elura2 for Christmas. Has anyone ever jumped one before? Also, If you have what D-box did you use? thanks
damion75 0 #2 January 9, 2008 Perhaps try this in the photo forum instead? I have never heard of that camera (not even sure if it is stills or video!) but someone there will know. You should probably also update your profile a bit to satisfy people there that you are suitable to be jumping cameras! *************** Not one shred of evidence supports the theory that life is serious - look at the platypus. laba1095 0 #3 January 9, 2008 I used to jump a Canon Elura, it stopped working after about 15 jumps. Something with condensation messing up the insides. Although I never jumped it with a d-box, only an L bracket and a camera condom. I've tried two different Canon models and neither one worked out well. But the only way to find out is strap it on and see how long it lasts.
dragon2 2 #4 January 9, 2008 If you check the camera forum you'll find canon video cameras have several problems for skydiving, if you want to keep the canon in one piece don't skydive with it, if you want to fly camera for real get a sony. ciel bleu, Saskia
