Ouch....

He lived, so it isn't that terrible...but none of us have any idea how a 4 year old little boy survived without frying. The tongs on the fork actually burned back, and it shot across the room. No way he should have been able to let go in time. Just crazy.

In my old high school I used to take a staple and put it into the socket. The circuit wouldn't be complete untill touched the metal shielding around to socket to give a ground. It wasn't that bad. A couple of my class mates decided to let me shock them too. Man we were bored

Talk about bored - I was at Lake Wales once for Collegiates and in the evening, several times, a group of people would stand around, hand in hand and the right hand of the person on the far right would hold one wire of an extension cord which was plugged in. The person on the far left would hold the other half to the cord and the circuit was complete. It was about 10-15 people and they reported they "could feel it." I declined to participate.

I have heard about that at Harvest Moon Boogie. I think it was called an electric gateway?

In total honesty. I plugged in something i was not suppossed and at 5 was not strong enough to pull the plug out. My critical thinking kicked in & used a screwdriver to pry out the plug, well contact with the 2 prongs happenned just as Dad walked in. Try to play it cool after 120 volt zap!B|

I was about 13 or 14 when I asked my mother why so many of the electrical outlets in our house had black scorch marks on them.

Her answer: "We couldn't keep you from sticking things into the outlets when you were little."

This, and a head injury when I was 13, explains a lot. :)

My uncle was a high-voltage electrician for the power company. He could grab 120Vac and it wouldn't even faze him....me, an ex-electrician, it fazes me and tingles quite a bit but doesn't hurt if I can control the muscle spasms. I can't hold onto it for too very long, though. You can feel and hear the buzzing.

You gotta try the electric 8-way with RoamingDZ...get it down to a two-way.

Normal breakerage for an outlet is 16 amps, I believe. Any doctors in the house, double-check me, but I believe .1 amp (that's 1/10th OF AN AMP, FOLKS) is considered the lethal threshold, is it not?

Definitely a "stupid human" trick!!

Standard circuits in the US are 20amps.

Electric 8-way isn't all that bad, believe me. You're not going get anywhere near that even if you did a 1-way.

No, I do not condone this for the weak-of-heart or bladder.
