I got in a couple nice ones,and before I knew it all his friends decided to join in. I ended up on the ground getting boots to the head. Finally someone broke it up, and I left pretty quickly. Now I'm left sore and in a bad mood. Not because of the fact that I lost, but because I have to deal with this bull**** my first night back home. I hate fighting... It is very serious because fatalities can when people kick a person in the head while he is down. You could have at least been permanently injured. If however you had the opportunity to leave and chose to stick around for the challenge due to a misplaced sense of machismo then you need to treat this like a lesson learned and develop the temperment and maturity to walk away from this kind of nonsense. Once you realized that things were going bad and you were out numbered.. It was time to walk away regardless of who was right. It took me a lot years and alot of ass whippings to figure that one out. The last one could have easily killed me and almost did. There is a time to stand up and be a Man... But not when you can’t possibly win. Learn the difference and don’t be afraid to walk away. You get into an Argument with someone and they have several Buddies with them and you don’t... Walk away if possible, If not make sure that you take them out as quickly and as devastatingly as possible. There is no such thing as a Fair Fight. Grab a Brick, Stick, Board or Bat. One of the first things we teach in Tae Kwon Do is ways to avoid fights. Then as you progress threw the belts you learn what is the point in getting into a random fight, you can fight someone at your skill level in class and not go to jail!!! A real man can walk away, or run if needed. If you are cornered and there is no way out unleash the whoop ass.. Some day I will have the best staff in the world!!! The thing that really pisses me off is when some asshole's friends can't let two men do their thing and instead decide to jump in and make things totally one sided. My friend Matt was at the club with his girlfriend about a year ago. Some asshole was starting shit with him in the club but he just brushed it off as another drunk idiot. As they were leaving the club, said asshole comes up to him and starts running his mouth. Matt said "Look, I don't want trouble man. Leave it alone". The kid shoved my Matt, and it was gut reaction for Matt to turn around and punch the kid in his face. The kid hit the ground, completely knocked out. Shitty part is, the kid had three friends, which immediately started fighting Matt. Matt managed to get another one of the kids down, but the other two tackled him and got him to the ground. Of course, pussies started pounding him while he was down, kicking him in the head etc. Pretty messed up. Anyways, don't get too down on yourself. Shit happens that isn't always avoidable. If you felt like you needed to defend yourself, than you did the right thing. Rest up, heal up, then find the bastard and give him another whooping Just kidding..
