Snowboarder kids...

Has anyone else noticed that the number of apparently unsupervised, disrespectful punk snowboarder kids has increased 10x this year? Do these kids not have parents?

Yesterday at a small resort in Wisconsin... I was headed through a terrain park and started to line up for a jump when I noticed a group of kids sitting at the bottom of it. Had I not stopped to check and line up, I probably would have killed them. I asked them nicely to clear the way so people could use the jump. No kidding... this little bastard who couldn't have been older than 10 tells me "shut up, numbnuts", and proceeds to try to throw a ball of ice at me. If I even thought of saying something like that to an adult at his age, my parents would have beat the hell out of me.

I have had fun with those kids..hauling past and having close calls. Now granted I have been skiing for awhile and trust myself not to hit them but if there is an oops..they were on the back side of the jump!

It was last weekend at a small resort in WI that I had similar problems ;)

I wondered about that...then I also wondered about why you would stick it up your ass...it would be better suited to be up the ass of the morons screwing around sitting at the base of a jump..kind of like having kids running around the landing area...ok not quite as bad you can do a go around with ski's/board...but still dumb ass place to sit! Gonna get hit..accedent waiting to happen.

Ehh.. wasn't worth the effort to do anything about it. His parents, if I found them, probably wouldn't have kicked his ass... and I'd have been arrested if I did. It's easier to just complain :D
