boinky 0 #81 March 1, 2006 I won't get into specifics and embarrass him (which I do on a regular basis anyway), but I've got a keeper. He tells me all the time that he's "not all that," but beauty (whether inside/outside/both) is in the eye of the beholder. I look at him, his personality, the wonderful way he treats me, treats others and the things he does for not just me, but everyone....and I ask myself (and him) how I got so lucky. (Of course, he blushes. ) And then I tell him that his "X" was a moron for letting him go! (And then he blushes some more! ) Definitely her loss and my gain! ***************************************************************** Okay....I can't resist this ONE shopping day experience story. On his recent trip home, we were about to go shopping in a store called IKEA, which is in Houston. The main entrance to the store has a 2 opening revolving door, on a center turning pivot. He stands outside to finish his cigarette and I go in to get out of the cold. When he gets into the revolving door, he walks to the center pivot, leans his head down a little and puts his head right against it. He then begins to "plod" around and around and around, "pushing" the door with his head. OMG, I was laughing so hard at his antics, I thought I would pee myself!!! The grumpy greeter never even cracked a smile. He came in and acted like he was insulted and asked me how I could make fun of his "job" of making the door continue to go around (in so many words). If you've ever been in one of these stores, they "create" rooms for you, putting together furniture, lighting and accessories...and of course, they play music to entertain you. We're walking through one of the bedroom scenes. All of the sudden, there was a song on the sound system that he liked. He grabbed my hand and began to two-step me around the room, oblivious to any odd stares that we might be getting. He wouldn't let me go until the song was over. Later that day, we went into a Bed, Bath & Beyond. Instead of a rolling shopping cart, he picks up a plastic shopping basket....and then puts in on his head, sort of like a cage....and walks around the front of the store shopping. The customer service desk was right next to the sheets we were looking at. Once again, I am laughing hilariously at his antics. The folks at the counter sort of stared and I have to say I am impressed with the guts of one male employee, who actually asked if we needed any help. Of course, I don't think there's any help for either of us....and I'm glad, too! If a man can do these things in a store, and not be self-conscious about what others might think about him....I think I've got me a good man! Whatcha' think? lisamariewillbe 1 #82 March 1, 2006 Quotehis "X" is a moron I agree, but I changed it a bit... One of the nicest things is he still treats her how he wants to be treated... not many men do that. I have a few keepers, but by law I have to keep them... there these really awesome kids that like to give me 10 kisses when I go to sleep that way I have a bank of kisses through the night while they are sleeping.Sudsy Fist: i don't think i'd ever say this Sudsy Fist: but you're looking damn sudsydoable in this

True, true....One of the things I admired about him up front was his honesty, his kindness, respectfulness to others and the fact that he keeps his word. OK, the fact that he's somewhat of a perv is appealing too! *note*-See added story!Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? PLFXpert 0 #84 March 1, 2006 I saved that picture. I hope you don't mind I LOVE underwater photography. I always bring a camera with me. I've been fortunate to dive only in some of the best places in the world (nearly everywhere in the Carribean), but believe it or not, I've never seen a sea turtle That is a BEAUTIFUL shot, by the way. And, I can't believe people eat them either---it's popular to steal their eggs in Costa Rica and other Central American countries---mostly the poor At Ruth's Chris once I ended up sitting next to John Travolta at the bar. He ordered turtle soup And of course, I made a smart-ass remark (imagine that), but not rude, just in my own lighthearted way. (Note, obviously it was not sea turtle soup, but turtle nonetheless) Good thing he thought I was funny and picked up our tabPaint me in a corner, but my color comes back. JENNR8R 0 #87 March 2, 2006 I've been sleeping with my best friend for the last six years. He loves to cuddle and to keep me warm. I spent many a cold night in bed before I got him, let me tell you! I can turn him on with just a touch. And he's never failed to get hot!!! ....well except for that one night when the electricity went out. He's my electric blanket. Sorry...that's all I got...What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.
