Darius11 12 #1 February 28, 2006 But unfortunately or fortunately it has not. I am in no way an experienced skydiver but I thought the wanting and needing to jump would get a bit less as you did more and more jumps. This winter has been really rough jumping wise. The weekdays are great and the weekends suck. No matter what I do during the weekend no matter what sex drugs rock and roll I still feel like my weekend would have been better spent if I could have jumped. You know that feeling after a weekend of jumping you feel like you did your work during the week and now it’s the weekend and you want your cookie for the work you did. The problem is the most satisfying cookie for me is jumping. I am going nuts. I feel like I have been dead since November and I have another few weeks unless the weather decides to stay nice on the weekend. I WANT MY FUCKING COOKIEI'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
Sick_Of_It_All 0 #2 February 28, 2006 I've only done 2 tandems, going to start AFF soon, but I know what you are talking about. You should move down to Florida, we got plenty of room for you down here. Weather is usually pretty decent, doesn't get real cold but a handful of days, with the odd hurricane or four.. Hambone 0 #3 February 28, 2006 I only have 70 jumps but i can say for me if anything that feeling has gotten worse, all i want to do is jump, my wuffo friends don't get it but they don't have to so there. ha ha ha anyway you can come to ATL we jump here, infact i am hoping to get a jump in this weekend. I want to be a little more current rolling into DUBLIN. (man am i excited about that!)Yeah...You need to grow up. -Skymama
Darius11 12 #4 February 28, 2006 Dudes i am thinking about both of those options. FL, ATL, or Eloy i need to go somewhere at least for a weekend and do like 10-20 jumps. Or pry that this weekend will be nice.I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
Sick_Of_It_All 0 #5 February 28, 2006 I see you like anything to do with the ocean. If you decide on a trip and make it FL let me know. You could jump, fish, and surf, all within a 20 mile radius!
skybytch 273 #6 February 28, 2006 Wear off? Nah. I hope it never wears off. For me it has lessened to the point where I can go a month or so without jumping before I begin to feel the need to either jump or kill something.

Sick_Of_It_All 0 #8 February 28, 2006 Having lived here almost my intire life I tend to get tired of FL and take it for granted.. but we really do have it pretty good down here.
mailin 0 #9 February 28, 2006 Yes, but only from November - April. I'll leave the humidity and huge bugs there during the spring/summer while I go to a place with just slightly less humidity and slightly smaller bugs JenArianna Frances
Sick_Of_It_All 0 #10 February 28, 2006 Haha, you are right about that! Even worse my day job is working construction, the summers are brutal. I guess you just get used to it after awhile. Today the high is 76 though, not bad for "winter".
