VanillaSkyGirl 6 #26 February 23, 2006 QuoteNope, I wasn't shopping for a foreign bride. But, believe me, if I was, you are first on my list! Woohoo...I'm on your "list"! Actually, I became a United States Citizen when I was 14, so technically I don't count as "foreign". Anyway, I was just teasing you. Amazon~ You slay me, girl! I love a story with a happy ending... Steve~ "PJ style"? Holy cow, that was too hilarious for words. Edited for typo!
rehmwa 2 #27 February 23, 2006 QuoteKinda reminds me of the ASsHOLE next door to our local DZ who did the mail order bride thing... she hung out at the dz while he was off flying commercial jets ..she learned how to read and see what other people were like in this country... and then ran off with a skydiver.. making the anal retentive abusive ASSHOLE very very belligerent towards the skydivers. well, what choice did the poor guy have? after you shot him down, he had to get out of his depression somehow... ... lurch 0 #29 February 23, 2006 Filipina girls RULE. This is me, my last trip to Manila for some scuba. And these are the girls I hung out with. And for all you guys drooling.... I'm on my way back there in 2 weeks. Theres just something about Malay DNA, man... an amazing percentage of Filipina women are simply drop-dead gorgeous, and if you're a gentle, polite type, well, they love you.Live and learn... or die, and teach by example. skymama 37 #30 February 23, 2006 QuoteI agree, they look young, but I was only commenting on how beautiful they were. I can say your daughter is beautiful without any hidden agenda, can't I? Of course you can, I was just wonderin'. Geez, don't get so defensive or I'll have to spank you really hard in Dublin! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

waltappel 1 #33 February 23, 2006 QuoteQuote Yeah, just so you don't give me no smartass backtalk, woman! Actually, I was serious (for once!). The word "uppity" isn't necessarily my favorite, but yeah, if having opinions and original thoughts is considered a liability in a relationship, I'd really rather stay single. To me it's a really silly word that I can't take seriously because it sounds so completely back woods. Actually, that is probably an insult to back woods people everywhere, though no insult was intended. Walt

turtlespeed 226 #37 February 24, 2006 QuoteI came across a website, no it's not porn, that had a huge compilation of what they referred to as "Filipinas" or "Filipina girls." Now, I not the most educated man when it comes to this side of the world, but what exactly is a Filipina girl? Is it a girl from the Philipines, or some other similar country? Or is this like a slang term? At any rate, are they all this amazingly beautiful? I mean, wow! Every girl on there was absolutely stunning! I am not sure even what the website was exactly, but I DO know that these women are among the most beautiful I have ever seen. Yeagh- but as wit all women - they get OLD and UGLY - - - - I have no friends - now do I?I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

MF42 0 #40 February 24, 2006 I briefly dated a gorgeous filipina girl a couple years ago. If her friends were any kind of accurate sample of the DNA pool in that country, then yes they really are all beautiful like that.To western eyes, their apparent age is even more deceptive than most young american women. Filipina features simply don't display the signs of aging as clearly as white women. And it works both ways; she told me that when she first moved to the US she was constantly overestimating white peoples' age, thinking teenagers were in their mid-twenties. Don't believe anything you hear about these ladies being meek and submissive though! They're simply sneakier about getting their way. Matt

Cousin Judy was a grandmother at age 29.. that sort of folk and they have these cool meeting out in the woods on weekends...call em rallys... light crosses and stuff Oh, I get it now!!! I suppose they really *don't* like uppity women who don't shutup and do as they're told and give their men smartass backtalk! I know the reality isn't funny, but just thinking about that stuff, it seems so completely ludicrous that I can't help but laugh! When I was in Engineering school, a friend told me his brother had been at a party and he had a friend who was there with his Asian wife. The husband was talking about something and, after his wife chimed in with a comment, he sternly looked at her and said, "Shutup--*I'm* talking!!!". She then looked like she was truly sorry for having opened her mouth. Hearing about that, me and a couple of friends were laughing our heads off at how ridiculous that was. Just for the hell of it, I thought I would try it. I should mention that I like intelligent women--especially if they are smarter than I am (yes, I know--it doesn't take much!). Anyway, my GF at the time was a PhD candidate in Psychology. She was a very smart, accomplished, confident woman. I couldn't wait for just the right opportunity to use that line! Naturally, there was no way in hell that I would ever say that to her or any other woman in front of someone else, so I had to wait for her to interrupt me. Then it happened! I gave her "the look"! "Shutup--*I'm* talking!!! I was quite pleased with myself. Her reaction? She simply gave me a "fuck you" look, said, "No", and kept on talking. Pretty much what I had expected. I then told her the whole story and how ridiculous I thought it was. She just kind of shook her head, I think at the realization that she was dating someone with odd perspective on life. RhondaLea 4 #50 February 24, 2006 Quote"Shutup--*I'm* talking!!! I've known quite a few Filipino women in connection with working for various law firms. My experience is that one does not fuck with them lightly, because although the sounds emanating from their general vicinity are musical and although they can be quite warm and friendly... ...they are quite astute and they take no shit.
